Instead of the abrupt change of a traditional jump hour, the hour disc of Motel De Eclipse rotates gradually within the upper window.
Each numeral appears slowly, flowing into the next, a quiet reminder of how time unfolds.
This continuous motion transforms the dial into a living expression of transition, echoing the fleeting beauty of an eclipse.
Retrograde Minute Arc
The lower dial features a retrograde-style minute display, yet unlike a traditional jumping hand, it rotates slowly and continuously across the 0–60 arc. At the top of the hour, the minute disc completes its cycle and begins again from zero, marking time with a seamless, elegant rhythm.
